Leaving Very Soon

Me and Bryan have been running around all weekend thinking of things to pack.
We realized that there was not enough room to take everything we thought was "necessary," so know we are re-packing everything.
It has been a chaotic weekend. I know that this week will pass by SO slow knowing that Friday, I will be leaving to go to Europe. I'm so excited.
I'm taking my computer, mainly to stay up-to-date with work, but I will keep everyone posted on what's going on.
Saturday night, Me and Bryan went to his dad's house to eat dinner with Bill, his dad, and Terri, his step-mom. We had the best time, talking about when Bryan was younger.
They have the funniest stories, and the best food. It really felt like family.
Also, we planned a trip to take next summer, all four of us. Were going to Cabo!
It's going to be awesome, the white beaches, the clear water...I can't wait.
Sunday night, we had dinner at my parent's house. Bryan helped Eric, (who is my brother and Bryan's best friend,) grill food for everyone. It was amazingly good. We were so full afterwards. Sara came over after she got off work and joined us. She is the sweetest thing ever.
If felt so good to be around friends and family.
EUROPE IN 4 DAYS!

Umbrella

Since it has been raining non-stop this week, I have ordered Bryan a frog umbrella. It came in today, and I can't show wait to show Bryan the present I got for him.

I can picture him now walking across the parking lot and into his office trying under the giant frog. He will be beyond cute.

"My Little Popsicle"

All last week at work, the air conditioning people have been coming to fix our AC.
There wasn't a vent in my office, and in Emily's office it was blowing WAY too cold.
So they worked, and worked and worked.
They were here all week.
Well today, I guess things were finally finished.
So, I'm sitting here calling back the bidders that we have, and I'm getting colder and colder.
I start shivering, when I ask Emily, "What is the temperature set at?"
"55," she say.
"Well turn it up. I'm freezing." I yell back.
So went start looking at the digital thermostat and decide finally how to turn it down.
Well it won't work. It still says 55.
We call the AC repair men. They will be here in 30 minutes.
Right now, I am sitting in my chair, which the front door to my office open hoping that the cold air will escape somewhere.
And I'm freezing. I wish they could get here sooner.
So I call Bryan just to see how day is going, and tell him about the AC problems.
So at the end of the conversation Bryan says, "Well I'll talk to you later, my little popsicle."
All I could do, was smile and thing to myself, "I'm going to marry this man."
It didn't seem as cold, when I got off the phone.

Car Salesmen, Colors, and Jokes about Seats

Today, Bryan and I woke up at 6:45, got dressed and drove about an hour away to look at a new car. Bryan has decided that he wants to trade in his Ford Ranger, for a new Escape. We looked on the interent and thought that "Sonic Blue" would be a nice color.
(Who thinks of the name for cars? Why can't we buy a "Light Blue" car, or "Red" instead of "Fireball Red.")
Well, we get over to the dealership after being lost, 2 times, (he blames the map) and notice that our "Sonic Blue" is purple. I don't think that there are any words to describe the color except, "Regular Purple."
So we start looking at different colors and agree we like the "Metallic Green." It's not really a green it's more of a umm... light turquoise color. Very pretty.
So, we begin to test drive it. I look at Bryan and see his eyes just light up with this little gleam he has. I don't think I have ever seen him look cuter.
Well on the test drive, Bryan says something about how much he likes "the leather seats." Well I look down at my butt, and see no leather, only cloth. So I start laughing, not just a chuckle, a LAUGH. Finally, Bryan realizes that were not driving the one with leather and begins to laugh too. The salesmen, who must of not heard Bryan's comment, just sits in the backseat and looks at us like we are two complete idiots. After about 10 minutes of laughing, we finally stop.
(I'm honestly not sure why Bryan's mistake was so funny. I think that we were just both in a good mood.)
So the car salesmen wants to "run some figures by us."
After an hour of figures, we decide that we are going to keep looking.
I don't think that I have ever had a more fun day shopping for cars.

Engagement

The most wonderful thing ever happened last night. Me and Bryan were sitting in our new apartment and we just got done cooking dinner, when he proposed. He got down on his knee and told me how he knew he wanted to spend his life with me.

I think I am the happiest person in the whole world right now. He said that he wanted to wait till Europe but couldn't. I love him so much.

Right now, I'm just sitting here at work looking at my ring and smiling. Bryan, you make me so happy.

(My digital camera is temporary out of service, so this will have to do.)

Our Bedroom

I thought that I would add some pictures of our new apartment.
Me and Bryan moved in together 2 weeks ago and we couldn't be happier with our place.

This is our bedroom. It's kind of plain now, only because we haven't had time to decorate yet. Posted by Picasa

Study

This is the upstairs study. We mainly have it to just hang out in. Posted by Picasa

Kitchen Area

This is the kitchen area. (Nope, that's not me in the pictures, it's the real estate agent.) Posted by Picasa

Living Room

This is the livingroom view.
I absolutely love the wood floors and the stairs. Posted by Picasa

Living Room

This is the livingroom still but from another view.
It shows the stairs and the front entrance. Posted by Picasa

Counting Down the Dayes

I am beyond excited to be going to Europe. I can't seem to sit still.
Me and Bryan were talking yesterday about all the things that we wanted to see while we were there and we added so many to the list.
I'm not sure if I'm more excited to get out of the office, I work as a Visual Arts Representative, or if I just can't wait to spend time with Bryan.
I am going to miss Murphy though. He is my bright blue Beta fish.
I feel confident in leaving him with Sara. I know that she will feed him.
I have been trying to take a picture of Murphy but it's hard because of the glass vase reflects and I seem to come up with a big blob rather than a fish. Any ideas?

Getting Started

I didn't really have a whole lot to say about my first post so I thought that I would just publish this image. You can find more images like that here:
